1. Acceptance of terms

By installing, accessing, or using Appifire AI Chat, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use the service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.

2. Service description

Appifire AI Chat is a Shopify-focused AI chat service designed to answer product and storefront questions, assist with order-status and tracking inquiries, and provide merchant-configurable chat experiences grounded in store data.

3. Eligibility and account responsibilities

You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activities under your account, app permissions granted in Shopify, and all configuration choices made by your team.

4. Permitted use

You may use the service only for lawful business purposes and in compliance with applicable laws, platform rules, and third-party terms. You agree not to misuse, reverse engineer, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to the service.

5. AI output and merchant responsibility

AI-generated responses may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing your configuration, knowledge sources, and use of outputs in your business operations. Appifire does not guarantee that all responses will be error-free or suitable for every scenario.

6. Data and privacy

Your use of the service is subject to our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have all rights, permissions, and legal bases needed for data you provide to Appifire, including customer and order-related data processed through Shopify integrations.

7. Plans, billing, and credits

Appifire may offer a free tier and paid tiers, including usage-based limits and optional credit top-ups. Charges, included allowances, and usage rules are shown in the app listing, billing screen, or checkout flow. You authorize recurring charges where applicable.

Unless otherwise required by law or stated in writing, fees are non-refundable. You are responsible for applicable taxes and for monitoring usage.

8. Third-party services

The service depends on third-party platforms and providers, including Shopify and model/infrastructure vendors. Their availability and policies may affect service behavior. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

9. Intellectual property

Appifire and its software, branding, and related materials are owned by Appifire or licensors. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the service for your internal business operations.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if required for security, legal compliance, non-payment, or violations of these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time by uninstalling the app, subject to any outstanding fees and legal obligations.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent allowed by law. We disclaim implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Appifire is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from use of the service. Our aggregate liability is limited to amounts you paid for the service during the twelve months before the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Appifire harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the service, your content or data, or your violation of these Terms or law.

14. Changes to service or terms

We may modify features, pricing, or these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the jurisdiction specified in your commercial agreement or, if none is specified, the jurisdiction where Appifire primarily operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
